Christopher A. Slusher

Christopher A. Slusher is an experienced trial attorney, having tried over 60 jury trials in state and federal courtrooms in cases such as wrongful death, chemical exposure, civil rights violations, and capital murder. He has assisted clients in recovering millions in settlements and verdicts. Chris now concentrates his practice on criminal defense.

He has represented clients in complex, high-profile cases featured on CBS's 48 Hours and Court TV's Trial Story. He has served as a guest commentator on Court TV's Catherine Crier Live. Mr. Slusher has received training in courtroom techniques at places such as the Wyoming Trial Advocacy Institute, the California Institute for Criminal Defense Advocacy, and Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College.

Mr. Slusher also has experience representing clients in appeals to the Missouri Appellate Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Christopher A. Slusher received a degree in Business from Indiana University in 1988 and his law degree from the University of Missouri in 1991.

Chris grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and graduated from Hickman High School in 1984. He returned to Columbia several years after law school and has practiced law for thirty years. His wife, Renee, is an attorney who serves as a Commissioner on the Missouri Administrative Hearings Commission.  Chris and Renee have twin boys who are in college.
