How to Prevent Child Heat Injuries this Summer

It’s been a hot summer in Missouri! This time of year especially, it’s important to be aware of the risk of heat-related injuries. Tragically, a large number of baby and toddler fatalities occur because the child is left in a hot car. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 900 children since 1998 have died because they were stuck or left in a hot vehicle. Don’t let this tragedy befall your family.
